1. Who this agreement is between
   This agreement is between DentomyxOS Software (placeholder) ("we") and the clinic or person who
   installs or uses DentomyxOS ("you").

2. Licence
   We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use
   DentomyxOS for your own clinic(s), on the number of branches and devices
   shown in your licence key. A 9-day trial with all features is included.
   After the trial (or after a paid licence ends and its 15-day grace period),
   the software becomes read-only: you can still open, view, print, export and
   back up all your records. You are never locked out of your own data.

3. Your data
   All clinic and patient records stay on your own computers / phones (and in
   backups you choose to make). We do not collect patient data. The optional
   online booking add-on runs on a server that you or we set up for your clinic;
   see the Privacy Policy. You are the data fiduciary for your patients' data
   under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and must follow it.

4. Clinical decisions
   Drug-interaction, allergy and other alerts are reference warnings only. The
   doctor decides. The medicine list comes from a public dataset and may be
   incomplete or out of date; please check and add your own brands.

5. Backups
   You are responsible for keeping backups. If you forget the backup password
   or the admin recovery code, we cannot recover the data.

6. What you may not do
   You may not resell, rent, reverse-engineer (except where the law allows),
   remove copyright notices, or bypass the licence check.

7. Updates and support
   Paid plans include updates and support during the paid period as described
   on our price list.

8. Warranty and liability
   The software is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. Our total
   liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

9. Open-source parts
   DentomyxOS includes open-source components under their own licences
   (see THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt). Nothing here limits your rights under them.

10. Law and courts
   Indian law applies. Courts: [to be decided — lawyer to confirm].
